SELF EFFICACY KEPUTUSAN KARIR PADA SISWA MADRASAH ALIYAH

 ABSTRAK                                                                                                                                  Pengambilan keputusan karir merupakan suatu tahapan penting bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) atau sederajat, yaitu suatu pengambilan keputusan karir yang realitasnya diwujudkan melalui pemilihan studi lanjutan setelah SMA atau sederajat. Hal ini penting karena pilihan yang akan di ambil sangat menentukan masa  depan  karir  siswa.  Dalam  pengambilan keputusankarir  yang  baik  sangat  dipengaruhi  oleh  adanya faktor dari dalam individu yaitu self efficacy yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui self efficacy dalam pengambilan  keputusan karir pada siswa Madrasah Aliah Negeri (MAN) Rukoh Darussalam Banda Aceh. Penelitian  ini merupakan  penelitian  deskriptif  naratif dengan pendekatan  cross sectional  dari populasi sebanyak 153 orang, besar sampel 81 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Penelitian  ini  dilakukan  pada  tanggal  12  sampai  dengan  tanggal  15  Mei  2015  dengan  menggunakan kuesioner  untuk  self  efficacy  yang  terdiri  dari  23  item  pernyataan.  Analisis  data  yang  digunakan  adalah analisis  univariat.  Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan  bahwa  self  efficacy  pada  siswa  yang  akan  mengambil keputusan karir berada pada kategori tinggi sebanyak 49 orang (60,5%) dan 32 orang (39,5%) berada pada kategori  rendah.  Dari  empat  sub  variabel  self  efficacy  di dapat  data  yaitu  performance  accomplishments berada pada kategori tinggi sebanyak  45 orang (55,6%), vicarious experience  berada pada kategori rendah sebanyak 43 orang (53,1%), verbal persuasion berada pada kategori tinggi sebanyak 55 orang (67,9%), physiological   information   berada  pada  kategori  tinggi  sebanyak  56  orang  (69,1%).  Berdasarkan   hasil penelitian tersebut, peneliti menyarankan hendaknya pihak sekolah agar dapat lebih mempertimbangkan pentingnya  bimbingan  konseling  terkait  personal  accomplisments,  explorasi  pengalaman,  dan  pemberian apresiasi  atas keputusan  karir untuk setiap siswa, agar siswa dapat sejak dini merencanakan  dengan  tepat karir masa depannya serta memfasilitasi setiap  siswa secara intensif terkait permasalahan di bidang karir.Kata kunci: karir, self efficacy, siswa.  ABSTRACT                                                                                                                                  A career  decision  making  that becomes  a significant  step for Senior  High  School  students  or equal  is a career decision making that its reality is realised by selecting a higher education after Senior High School or equal. This is important  because the options that will be taken will determine  their future career. A good career decision making is influenced  by the factor from internal individual,  nemely high self efficacy. The objective  of  this  research was  to  find  out  self  efficacy  in making  a  career  decision  of  the students  at Madrasah  Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Rukoh Darussalam  Banda Aceh. This research  is a descriptive  narrative with total population  of 153 students,  81 samples,  cross sectional  aproach  and the technique  of selectingsample   was  purposive   sampling.   This   research   was conducted   on  12  to  15  May   2015,   by  using questionnaires forself efficacy consisted of 23 statment items. Data analysis used was an univariate analysis. The result of the research showed that self efficacy  on the students that would make a career decision was at high category  totaled 49 persons (60,5%) and 45 persons (39,5%)  as a lower category.  There were four subvariables  of self efficacy including:  performance  accomplishment  was at high category  for 45 persons (55,6%), vicarious experience  was at low category for 43 persons (53,1%), verbal persuasion  was at high category totaled 55 persons (67,9%), physiological  information  was at high category 56 persons (69,1%). Based on the results, the researcher suggests should the schools to be more considerate of the importance of counseling related to personal accomplisments, exploring experiences, and appreciating career desicions for every student so that the students can prepare their future career properly from the early time also school personel is expected to facilitate each student intensively related to the career problems.Keywords: career, self efficacy, students.
