Pengaruh Dosis Pupuk Kandang Kambing dan Biochar Tempurung Kelapa terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Kakao (Theobroma cacao L.)

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk kandang kambing dan biochar tempurung kelapa terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bibit kakao serta interaksi keduanya. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Biochar Research Station, dan Gampong Pineung, Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Benih, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Darussalam, Banda Aceh. Pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai dari Januari sampai Juni 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 4 x 3 dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu dosis pupuk kandang kambing (kontrol, 8 ton ha-1, 17 ton ha-1, dan 25 ton ha-1) dan faktor kedua yaitu dosis biochar tempurung kelapa (kontrol, 10 ton ha-1, dan 20 ton ha-1). Parameter yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, bobot brangkasan basah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dosis pupuk kandang kambing terbaik terdapat pada 25 ton ha-1 dan dosis biochar tempurung kelapa terbaik pada 20 ton ha-1.ÃÂ (Effect of Goat Manure and Coconut Shell Biochar Dose on Growth of Cocoa Seedlings (Theobroma cacao L.))Abstract. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, and plant wet weight. The results showed that the best dose of goat manure was 25 tons ha-1 and the best dose of coconut shell biochar was 20 tons ha-1.Abstract.
