The study aimed to see the difference of erythrocyte value, index erythrocyte MCV (Mean Corpuscular Volume), MCH (Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin), MCHC (Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration), thrombocyte, leukocyte, hematocrit and hemoglobin of aceh female horned cattles and polled cattles. This research is motivated by the existence of local wisdom developed in the Aceh community that aceh female polled cattle is preferred and has some differences compared to aceh female horned cattle. The sample collection was conducted at Balai Pembibitan Ternak Unggul dan Hijauan Pakan Ternak (BPTU-HPT) Indrapuri, Aceh Besar. Blood samples were examined with a hematology analyzer. The results of blood profile of aceh female horned cattle and aceh female polled cattles were as follows: the mean erythrocyte counts were 8.61ñ0.9 and 8.86ñ0.49 (10â¶/ül), MCV were 47.85ñ5.31 and 45.90ñ4.28 (fl), MCH were 14.57ñ1.11 and 14.03ñ1.23 (pg), MCHC were 30.42ñ1,53 and 30.70ñ0.81 (g/dl), platelets were 2.67ñ 0.44 and 2.87ñ 0.33 (10ó/ül), leukocytes were 9.64ñ1.80 and 9.06ñ2.75 (10ó/ül), hematocrit were 41.43ñ6.34 and 40.64ñ4.61 (%), and hemoglobin were 12.57ñ1.58 and 12.49ñ1.389 (g/dl), respectively. Therefore, it can be concluded that statistically there was no significant difference (P 0.05) of blood profile value between aceh female horned cattle and aceh female polled cattles.
