Analisis Peran Penyuluh Pada Program Upaya Khusus (Upsus) Terhadap Penilaian Petani Di Kecamatan Peudada Kabupaten Bireun

Abstrak.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran penyuluh menurut petani penerima program upaya khusus di Kecamatan Peudada Kabupaten Bireun dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peran penyuluh menurut petani penerima program upaya khusus (Upsus) Kecamatan Peudada Kabupaten Bireun. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian, Perikanan dan Kehutanan (BP3K) Kecamatan Peudada Kabupaten Bireun. Pemilihan lokasi ini dilakukan secara sengaja (Purposive sampling) dengan pertimbangan bahwa lokasi Kabupaten Bireun  merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang melaksanakan program upaya khusus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sensus, sedangkan metode pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara sengaja (Puprosive Sampling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Peran penyuluh berdasarkan penilaian penyuluh sendiri sebagai fasilitator, mediator, dan dinamisator sudah optimal, walaupun termasuk katagori sedang. Sebaliknya petani menganggap peran penyuluh tersebut belum optimal, karena petani mengharapkan penyuluh berperan pada level yang lebih tinggi. Diantara ketiga peran penyuluh, maka peran yang paling baik mereka lakukan adalah peran sebagai dinamisator, hal ini terlihat dari tinggi nilai yang diberikan oleh petani terhadap peran penyuluh. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peran penyuluh, yaitu pengetahuan, keterampilan, motivasi, dan fasilitas berhubungan secara signfikan terhadap peran penyuluh. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai pearson chi-square (X2) yang lebih besar t tabel sebesar 3,84. Analysis Of The Role Of Extension Officers On A Spesial Effort Program (Upsus) Against An Assessment District Peudada Subdistrict Farmer In BireunAbstract. The purpose of this research is to know the role of extension officers according to a special effort program recipient farmers in Sub District Peudada Bireun and aware of the factors that affect the role of extension officers according to a special effort program recipient farmers (Upsus) Bireun District Peudada Sub-district. The location of the research done on the porch extension agriculture, Fisheries and forestry (BP3K) sub district Peudada Bireun Regency. Site selection is done deliberately (Purposive sampling) with the consideration that the location is one of the regencies of Bireun which carry special efforts. The methods used in this research is the census, while the method of sampling was done deliberately (Puprosive Sampling). The results showed the role of extension officers based on an assessment of extension officers themselves as facilitators, mediators, and dinamisator already optimal, although categories are included. Otherwise farmers consider the role of extension officers are not optimal, because farmers expert extension officers acted on a higher level. Among the third role of extension officers, then the role that most good they do is a role as a dinamisator, it is seen from a high value provided by farmers against the role of extension officers. Factors that affect the role of extension officers is knowledge, skills, motivation, and related facilities in signfikan of the role of extension officers. This is apparent from the value of the pearson chi-square (X 2) a larger t table of 3.84.
