We present implementation of multi-pair two-way for amplify-and-forward (AF) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) relaying systems using Alamouti STBC scheme. The proposed scheme consists of K-pair of user nodes with two antennas exchange their messages bidirectionally via a relay node with multi-antenna. The transmission process is splitted into two communication phases; the uplink and downlink phases, with the same in time duration. In the uplink phase, each f-pair of user nodes sent their symbols to relay node in unison using Alamouti STBC scheme. At the relay node, the transmitted symbols of each pair are amplified using the AF protocol and then broadcasts them to all user node. We employ the maximum likelihood (ML) decoding to estimate symbol messages at the downlink phase. The system performance is evaluated by conducting the average symbol error rate (SER) analysis using the AF protocol for Alamouti STBC scheme. The simulations show that our proposed scheme provides better performance in diversity gain compare to previous work.
