The use of DCT coefficient sign for content-based copy detection

In this paper, we propose to use DCT coefficients signs of DC image as features for content-based copy detection. The features are robust to scaling, JPEG compression, contrast and gamma changing and noise addition. Furthermore, the features are also robust to combined-attacks/alterations such as scaling-noise addition, and scaling-contrast changing.
